Dating back to the 15th century in India, the blue-green jewel tones of beetle elytra were often paired with lustrous zardozi embroidery, signifying high status in the Mughal courts. This ancient craft continues to flourish in traditional practices across Thailand, Myanmar, Peru, and Ecuador.

Both ourselves and our suppliers use recycled material through as much of the design & production process as possible. All of our card mounts and solid oak stands are FSC certified, meaning that the trees used are harvested responsibly and replaced to ensure no net loss of forest.
